Brazil’s agro-industry plays a strategic role, connecting primary production to the demands of the global market.
With growth of 8% by 2024, the sector continues to consolidate its position as a pillar of the national economy, accounting for 7.4% of GDP.
Despite this progress, the agro-industry faces challenges when it comes to accessing credit:
- Concentration of resources in large companies;
- Excessive bureaucracy that discourages entrepreneurs;
- Lack of transparency in the distribution of credits;
- Regional inequality.
